Firefighters worked through the night to try and contain a pair of wildfires burning near Lake Isabella dubbed the Piute Complex Wildfires.

Crews say both fires are 20 percent contained. The Clear Fire has grown to more than 500 acres, 12 miles south of Lake Isabella. The Heald Fire has burned about 300 acres just east of the Clear Fire in the Piute mountains.

Lightning strikes sparked both fires and several other smaller ones during Friday night's lightning storms.
