Yes School buses are what schools use now! Charter buses are for schools with more money and most filed trips are because they pay for themselfs or funding by fund raisers

Students in the GATE program only get to go on field trips because they pay for them themselves. They have always had to pay for their own field trips. They also use charter busses when they go out of town. The school busses were probably there to pick them up and bring them back from the accident.
