Elevators broke in high-rise apartments: Seniors stuck

It was a dire situation for some residents at a Bakersfield high-rise apartment complex over the holiday weekend. The elevators were down for days at Plaza Towers which means those with disabilities couldn't get in and out of their apartment.

That whole building is so old need's to be torn down.

the truth is these elevators have been faulty since 1990, everyone who have lived here has faced being stuck. if this wasnt a gvernment owned building it would have been replaced long ago.

instead of giving our tax dollars to border buddies, why not do something like put in NEW elevators for our disabled senior citizens, or are these people in this building all consertives, thereby, there is nothing to gain for the liberals in this state of confusion/ca to really help them..........
