A deputy district attorney who prosecuted felony DUIs has himself been charged in an impaired driving crash and will appear in court Tuesday morning.

The Attorney General's Office filed two misdemeanor charges against Jared Wyman Jordan on June 15.

Jordan is due in court Tuesday morning to enter a plea to the charges. The Attorney General's Office did not return our calls Monday seeking details.

Chief Deputy District Attorney Scott Spielman told us it was a personnel matter and he couldn't comment extensively.  He did tell us Jordan is still an employee of the District Attorney's office but he has been taken off of the felony DUI prosecution team and now works general felonies.

IT IS AMAZING HOW LITTLE IS BEING RELEASED ABOUT THIS ARREST. TYPICAL OF HOW THE POLICE COVER UP THEIR OWN DISCRETIONS, IN SPITE OF THE FACT A CRASH OF SOME KIND OCCURED, WHICH MUST HAVE DAMAGED SOMETHING, THIS DISTRICT ATTORNEY HAS PLEADED NOT GUILTY. I SMELL COVERUP ALL THE WAY THE MAN SHOULD BE SUSPENDED IMMEDIATETLY WITHOUT PAY AND SUBSEQUENTLY FIRED UPON CONVICTION>
