Why has this headline not been changed yet? You embarrass yourself and this community.

Green has also dropped 6 of the 7 felony charges againt 3 Mcfarland gang members for the beating of college students 3 weeks go. Something is going on in the DA's office that we don't know about.

Arson charges against Duran were dismissed by the District Attorney's office because the only witness to the fire was Deputy Plaza, who was under investigation by the department. Charges of resisting arrest were also dismissed. So they dismiss all charges against him yet he was still beat????? Also where did the bs about air 1 eing load come into this? That chopper isn't that loud when it is circling our neighborhood with the spotlight shining in bedroom windows at night.

Dadoftwo, just remember, these are college graduates who believe that they are 'journalists'. If these simple errors are examples of what their college education got them then we're really in trouble. I'm actually amazed that they graduated from high school let alone college.

Green or the Sheriffs won't last long in this County. The sad part is we (Tax payers) will have to pay for their mistakes.

I would like to file charges of excessive abuse of the English language against the writer of the headline... "won't not file" Seriously?

I have to admit I usually start out by assuming the Police operate in the proper way, but when they beat the snot out of someone and then provide false reports related to something that took 'only a few minutes', I have a problem with the whole thing. Then when their own department wants charges filed I know the officers were hands down wrong and deserve to be charged. If I was Duran and his lawyer, I'd be looking to see if there was any way to take this to the State Attorney's Office for review and possible charged at the State level. Between these officers and the other with the sex charges it's obvious that the Police force is out of control and so is the DA's office.
