A Hispanic-surnamed female scams a Caucasian COUPLE? Like, where were their heads? Are they a couple who only shop at free WiFi zones. Perhaps, the couple scammed the banks themselves and can’t get credit or a checking account, therefore the buy on the cash and carry basis. But for whatever reason, the couple can forget about getting their money back. Forget it, Poncho!! Adios!! There are suckers born every moment, and there are scammers that love to suck. (Myself, love to bully!!!)

It is hard to believe that in this day and age, people are stupid enough to fall for something like this!

Another person using CL to rent. When are people going to get smart and stop using it for anything, renting is not the only area where problems happen. And when are people going to wise up and realize that it is really easy to find out who owns a property before handing over money. I hate to say it, but after all of the news reports both local and national, if you use CL then you're asking to get scammed.

Ok now was she scammed out of $2,100 or $1,200? We have two different reports on this page, the video list it at only $1,200! Now does she even have proof she paid this money or is she scamming to get on the news so people will feel sorry for her?

Maybe I missed something but did she ever actually go look at the unit? In the article they quote the girl as saying the keys were fake. I noticed in the last one that it didn't appear the person had looked at that unit either. Are these people trying to rent something sight unseen? If so, that is a very ignorant mistake.
