The home owners need to get together and hire an attorney, make the city pay for damages and to relandscape their yards better than they are now!

Another city boondoggle that will end up costing three times as much and satisfying nobody. I'm sure some of the contractors will be making payouts to an election campaign or two.

Yes from the sidewalk to the street is city but if you notice the markers they go way pass the sidwalks into the yards! Then they are making the home owner pay to redo their own yards after they come in and destory it!

Seems to me that there shouldn't be any decison or preliminary work done on the 'tree streets' until there is a final decision on the widening project. Once the impact of the widening project is made, bring the 'tree street' project into it and make this one complete project since some of the work may be less intrusive if it is done at the same time. As for the 'tree street' changes, people seem to forget that their property line begins on their side of the sidewalks and the sidewalks out to the street is city easement. Take that easement away and portions of their land may need to be claimed by the city to provide the new sidewalk alignment, etc.

Former BFD Chief Fraze's house has been for sale at the end of one of these streets for months. Doesn't look good for him selling it anytime soon.
