robo cop - the deputies from contract cities are trained in DUI enforcement while most of the local deputies are not. they have called the CHP to handle the local DUI investigations for more than 30 years. you are absolutely right about the officers conduct-he was dead wrong in this act and the "victim" will receive a nice payday for this. her story has evolved from day one to now saying all the proper terms that will be used in a civil trial, its fairly obvious she is being coached by her attorney on what to say. murph, settle down some, you don't have the right to move a trial or law suit. i think what you are getting at is the federal court system (criminal) can choose to file civil rights violations against the former officer and that case would be moved to another court. just because someone is anti kern county does not give you the right to move your case.

if she consented or not it was wrong for the CHP ofc. to engage in sex with her while on duty or off duty. You don't socialize with victims, witnesses or suspects, period, it's unprofessional. Doing so leads to exactly this. Being accused of something, having to resign or be fired, and now probably being sued. She'll probably get a big settlement at taxpayers expense. No one knows the truth except those two and one is lying, we can make all types of assumptions here. I want to know why the KCSO called CHP to do DUI test, don't they have training to do it?

It wouldn't be the first time a case has been moved to LA or Fresno because of kern county courts!

We have a drunking driver and let her drive home? DUH? Call for a tow truck to impound and have her friends pick her up! Drunk Drivers should not be driving, with cops or not!

Dr999 you do not understand law do you? When you have any type of law suit and you can not recieve a fare out come in the city or county where this case took place then you can file in a different court! Any time anyone files a case against law enforcement country we all know how is normally turns out, that right is legal grounds to move any and all suit out of kern, civil or criminal!

murph, you just don't understand where to file a civil suit against a police agency do you? You said the same thing after the Dr. Harb trial. You have to file it in the county where the alleged "wrong" occurred, not just any county you choose. If you don't believe me, do your own research. You are making a fool of yourself.... again.
