BAKERSFIELD, CA - Centennial High School won this year's Kern County Mock Trial "Super-Saturday" Championship.
"They are working in public speaking, they research case law. They prepare," said Christine Goedhart-Humphrey, Mock Trial Coordinator.
Students from Centennial narrowly defeated the Bakersfield High team, with Ridgeview coming in third. Nineteen schools competed Saturday. Centennial will now go to the California Mock Trial in March in Riverside.
