Cal State rescinding tuition increase with Prop. 30's passage

Officials with Callifornia State University say they will start rescinding the $249 per semester fee increase already in place.

And after the year they will be threatening to cut schools again if they don't get more money. They will hold us hostage as long we we keep allowing it. Putting money into the general fund is scary as it just seems to ooze out in ever greater amounts and we just keep getting deeper in debt.

Thank You regperson for being one of the few who actually (probably) read the entire Prop. like me before voting. After year 1 we all know it will go straight to the General Fund, right where the Gov and Legislature wanted it to go all along.

Too bad the funding will only be for a year. 30 only supports education for the 2012-2013 school year, after that it is not guaranteed to go to education.
