Organizers of the Bakersfield Business Conference announced today that former First Lady Laura W. Bush and impressionist-entertainer Rich Little will address the Bakersfield Business Conference on October 9, 2010. Last week, conference organizers announced that former Vice President and former Second Lady Lynne Cheney will also be addressing the October 9, 2010 conference.
Conference organizer George F. Martin said, "Rich Little has appeared a number of times at past conferences and the attendess always ask to bring him back. He will kick of the morning with laughter and introduce new impressions he has created since his last appearance at our event. People are still talking about how Rich was able to accurately impersonate so many of our speakers when he appeared at our Conference last and we look forward to seeing his impersonations of many of the speakers on our 2010 lineup.
"Mrs. Bush brought an undeniable aura of grace and compassion to the White House in championing human rights, literacy, and educational opportunities throughout the United States and the world. Her imprint on the importance of women in government and especially her involvement in Afghanistan is a fitting tribute to the upcoming 90th anniversary of woman's suffrage."
The Bakersfield Business Conference is one of the nation's premiere platform speaking events. Over the years, the Conference has built a loyal following with its playful and patriotic ambiance and its presentation of politically-savvy entertainers alongside top business leaders, sports heroes, leading journalists, and veteran political figures.
