NBC News is confirming that Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan is Mitt Romney's pick for his vice presidential running mate.
NBC's Chuck Todd reports, three sources with knowledge about the campaign, confirm that Paul Ryan is the pick and that he'll be the one standing with Romney Saturday morning for the official announcement in Norfolk, Virginia.
Ryan, who chairs the House Budget Committee, has been viewed by Republicans as a game-changing pick for the Romney campaign and a rising-star Republican who has been praised as a conservative intellectual.
No comment from the Romney campaign.
