A runaway teen from Idaho has been found in Bakersfield. Coeur d'Alene police issued an arrest warrant for a local teenage boy's mother, who investigators say helped the 14-year-old get to California.

Police said Jaidyn Bendocchi and the 15-year-old boy met on XBox Live, an online gaming system. Bendocchi's father reported her missing Saturday morning.

Police said the FBI discovered the girl had been talking on the phone to 45-year-old Lillie Alvarado of Bakersfield, before she left home.

Officers said Alvarado picked up Bendocchi Friday night or early Saturday morning and drove to Spokane, Washington. The two then took a train to Bakersfield.

FBI agents found Bendocchi Tuesday and police said she is now in the custody of Child Protective Services.

She is with CPS because she is an out of state juvenile. The authorities have to wait for the legal guardians to pick up the juvenile in person.

So, why is she with CPS? Shouldn't she be with her parents?
