The woman killed early Monday in a head-on collision on Coffee Road has been identified as Breana Nicole Webb, 18, of Bakersfield.

Her name was released by the Coroner's Office. Bakersfield Police had not released any other names as of 11 a.m.

Webb was killed at about 3:45 a.m. when, police said, the car she was driving was hit head on by a car driven by a drunk driver.

The accident happened on Coffee Road, just north of Stockdale Highway, near the Town and Country shopping center.

Several people in the car with Webb were injured.

Police closed Coffee Road to investigate the crash. It was expected to be re-opened around noon.

No Hispanic are not the only ones that drive drunk but they seem to be the main ones killing people behind the wheel around this state!

When are they going to fix that down there. It is so dangerous. And all the speeders. No posted speed limit there. Come on Bakersfield its road work. Yes you have to tell these idiots to slow down. I'm sick of driving through there and people racing and cutting off to slam on there brakes. Get a clue.

Finding out someone you use to hangout with was killed in a fatal accident. Wow its so shocking to me, I still cant even believe it. I even have some of her clothes I borrowed at my house. I pray for her family and hope those that were with her make it out alive.
