BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - California Highway Patrol is offering a class for teen drivers and their parents on making sure teens stay safe behind wheel.
"Start Smart" is a free class teaching safe driving habits and tips on how to avoid a collision. The class takes place Tuesday, March 13 at 6 p.m. at the Bakersfield CHP Office located at 9855 Compagnoni Street.
You can sign up for the class by calling the Bakersfield CHP at 396-6600.
CHP says parents and teens will be more aware and better prepared to handle the stresses of being a new driver.
