Store owner says man stole crates of energy drinks in broad daylight

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - He's wanted for robbing a local convenience store and chances are he's been losing a little sleep over it.

A local gas station released surveillance photos of a man allegedly stealing crates of energy drinks in Bakersfield.

The owner of an ampm store on East Brundage Lane shared photos with 17 News of the alleged theft.

The store says on May 11, the man acted as though he was going to buy something and then walked out the door carrying three cases of Monster energy drinks without paying for them. He then got into a waiting vehicle.

The store says the same man has stolen from at least three other stores in Bakersfield.
