State cracks down on people buying drinks for minors
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Hundreds of people were busted for buying drinks for minors in a statewide crackdown.
It's called "The Decoy Shoulder Tap" -- a joint operation between the Alcoholic Beverage Control department, and California law enforcement.
The agents worked with minors to catch people who tried to buy them drinks. The department says 364 people were cited and arrested, mostly for giving alcohol to minors.
However, 52 people were caught with outstanding warrants for drugs, DUI and public drunkeness.
