Mother of five killed, family rallies support

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - New information about a woman who was killed a week ago. Her body left at a makeshift shooting range east of Bakersfield.

Adelina Ibarra, 36, dedicated her life to taking care of her five children.

Her sister Alma Ibarra said, "She was a really really good mom. Everything was for her kids, everything."

Adelina Ibarra worked in the fields most of her life. Last Friday was like any other day until she didn't return home. Family members said she was supposed to get a ride home from coworkers. As the hours past, they began to worry. Later that night, their worst suspicions confirmed.

Alma Ibarra said, "The police talked to us. They said it was her."

Her body left at a makeshift shooting range, visible from Breckenridge Road. Investigators said she had serious trauma to her face. But her death remains a mystery.
