Just for general information, law enforcement may (and does) use the same form to report any driver with driving impairments regardless of age

Like most law breakers after they have an infraction. You've heard this before we can' do anything until they molest someone, we can't do anything until they kill someone. Can't treat the elderly any different. Besides some elderly are just as sharp at 85 as some of the teenager are today.

Yes but will the elderly get off with no impound and no court charges like the illegal thanks to good old moonbeam new bill to protect the find illegals?

Really by the nationial report drivers over 70 are the safest but if you do the research only about 30% of the license drivers over 70 drive and then most of them drive very little. Yes it's a little hard to have an accident with their cars parked at home or no car at all.

Elderly drivers that lose their license can resort to the seemingly approved and encouraged driving habbits of illegals in Calif. Drive without a license or insurance.

They say drivers over say 65 are the safest drivers, heres the reasons, they hold a license but many do not drive or drive as much so yes it looks like they are safer due to less accidents. Second most people just myself watch out when I see an olde driver since I have had so many of them pull out in front of me or change lanes without looking or unable to see me in the lane next to them. As for younger people they are on the road all the time so yes more chance of an accident, do the ratio of time to accident and the story will change not counting young teen drivers.

Law enforcement officers can also submit a simple form to DMV after they stop/cite an elderly driver for a traffic violation who they think needs to be re-tested.
