A Kern County judge says he will release surveillance video of the shooting of two men at a Bakersfield convenience store but only to the attorney who's suing the owners for wrongful death.
The judge said that attorney Daniel Rodriguez can't show the controversial tape to anyone.
The tape reportedly shows store owner Samrith Vong killing Efrem Wandick and David Lyons in the store last October. Police said the killing was murder and arrested Vong but the District Attorney said it was self defense and refused to prosecute.
Rodriguez thinks the tape could resolve the dispute but the city refused to release it saying the dead men's privacy was at stake.
