quit reading into media hype, it's not the WHOLE truth. there are other details that are not disclosed to the media because of the ongoing investigation. does the media hype up when an officer does a good deed? saves a life? no. if you think you can do a better job at being a police officer for the city of Bakersfield, then by all means, apply. if you can't trust the police, then when you got shot at, get in an accident or your house burglarized, don't call them.

This is how they get away with murder. That one little lie. Not easy for others. And they wonder why some people are nervous when they get pulled over.

Well if the guy was laying on the ground it will be easy to prove if that is when he was shot, all they have to do is look at the angle of the bullet wounds. Will be intersting to see what comes out of the investigation. If he was armed was the weapon recovered?

This kind of situation is happening all to often because the officers are always justified. The Kern County justice system definitely needs some improvement and needs to start holding these officers accountable for their actions. Just because one lives in a crime stricken neighborhood doesn't give officers the right to shoot them down and that is exactly what they are doing!

by the way, because the victim didn't have a weapon means nothing to the City of Bakersfield authorities. that is why all of the police don't care if they kill unarmed persons is because they know they are going to get off... and conscience?... they have no conscience! ironically, the definition of conscience is: (a knowledge or sense of right and wrong, with an urge to do right; moral judgment that opposes the violation of a previously recognized ethical principle and that leads to feelings of guilt if one violates such a principle) so, they just think... 'oh well, just another person dead, too bad'... and then probably laugh about it! Good guys don't wear black!!!

Police are ruthless when it comes to killing. If they have set their mark on you then there is nothing you can do but pray. They don't wear the color black for nothing... they are the death squad and they wear the color to prove it. If they want you dead then you are just that... DEAD!!!

It's the same everytime, 'witnesses say he was unarmed"..sometimes maybe they they are right, but seems everytime. If was a cop and spmwbody pointed an object at me I don'r have time to stop and go trough a thought process, it it a real gun? I am not always on the side of the cops. I know for a fact they shoot first and ask later. But it can't be everytime that the dude was unarmed
