Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man, they believe, stabbed a relative to death Tuesday afternoon.
Investigators say 20-year-old Carlos Nuno and a man he's related to and lives with, got into a fight. It happened at a home in the the 800 block of Caylor Court around 2:30 p.m.
Deputies say Nuno pulled a knife, stabbed the victim in the leg and took off running. The victim, a man in his 20s, died at Kern Medical Center a short time later.
Nuno was arrested just after 5 p.m. at a Motel 6 on White Lane.
Detectives say they had probable cause to arrest Nuno for first degree murder. And, they have numerous witnesses and found the knife used in the killing.
