Shelter opens in Lake Isabella after power outage

More than 2,500 homes and businesses in the Lake Isabella area were without power Wednesday night after a grass fire toppled a power pole. A shelter was opened to help residents without cooling or drinking water.

... and so once again my faith in the Lake Isabella Shelter is at it's zenith.. where else can one get such fast service, when they have trouble with either electricity or water disconnects.. ??

GREAT NEWS to hear that the Lake Isabella shelter will be open for those of us, without electric power.. Now, if we can only get Vohns to lower their prices, look how great it is to live in this area. (signed) SMS a local resident.
