A Tehachapi man is due in court Thursday, on charges he had sex with two underage boys.
Sheriff's detectives say 26-year-old Steven Vogel allegedly met the juveniles on social networking sites.
Vogel ran unsuccessfully for the Tehachapi Unified School District Board in November.
He was also the first president of the Tehachapi Anti-Bullying Coalition.
Vogel was arrested Tuesday and is charged with five felony counts.
He's being held at the Downtown Jail on $200,000 bail.
