Carpe Diem is right. It provides the students easy access to a gun they wouldn't have had. We already have students assualting teachers & overpowering them. Having armed trained security on campus makes better sense but the first time they have to shoot a student the parents will sue. They already sue cities & police for doing their job & sue schools for expelling their problem kids. The parents need to pay more attention to their kids & be held accountable for their actions

Oh, yea it makes perfect sense until a student takes the gun away from the teacher because the teacher was too "busy" teaching! Great. Or should I say when the teacher finally explodes and decides to take out a few students! Then what?

if you have armed around outside of school, why have guns inside. Theres more chance of a teacher shooting a student the an inturer!
