One lane is now open on the north side of Interstate Five at Stockdale Highway after being closed since last night because of a crash.
The crash happened just after ten o'clock Monday night involving three semi trucks. The highway patrol says one semi was going south and crossed over into the northbound lanes, hitting two other semis.
All three vehicles caught fire and two people died at the scene. It's unclear if they were both drivers.
Northbound I-5 had been closed at Stockdale Highway but CHP has reopened one lane to traffic around 8:30 a.m.
