We now know the name of a motorcyclist who died in a crash Thursday last night in northwest Bakersfield.
Police say 44-year-old Daniel Montoya collided with a car around 5 o'clock last night at the intersection of Reina and Tahoe Pines Roads. Montoya was thrown from his bike and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car, identified as 19-year-old Jessica Valdez, suffered minor scratches in the accident.
No drugs or alcohol are suspected as factors in the crash.
