Mysterious blinking lights spotted north of Bakersfield

Mysterious blinking lights in the sky. That's what hundreds of people saw Tuesday night north of Bakersfield. Many thought it was a UFO. But as it turns out these lights were something a little less out of this world and illegal.

My son and I saw the same "sky lantern" about a month ago in southwest Bakersfield. It was a singel light and moved very slow, towards the southeast. I did not know what it was at the time, but a sky lantern makes sense to me! Very intertaining and pretty!!!

Actually.... some prankster made a prank call to the Alien Planet and told them they located a town that was indeed quite smart inviduals and they decided to come see it for themselves!
