Homicide detectives are investigating a fatal stabbing Wednesday night in Lamont.
It happened around 8:30 in the 10000 block of Silver Street.
When Sheriff's deputies arrived, they found a man suffering from several stab wounds. He was taken to Kern Medical Center, where he died.
No word on the circumstances that led up to the stabbing.
