Bakersfield police need your help finding a man who shot a Subway sandwich clerk in the face with a pellet gun, then tried to rob the shop.
It happened last Wednesday afternoon, at the Subway on Oak Street. Police say the man shot the woman, then unsuccessfully tried to take the cash register.
Officers think a woman seen standing outside the store was with the man.
A newer, white Grand Prix with dark tinted windows and paper dealer plates was seen leaving the scene. However, police say they're not sure if the car is connected to the shooting and attempted robbery.
