A man is in custody after slamming into a building early Tuesday morning.
Police say a man was drunk and drove his pickup into the Chase Bank off Stockdale and California in the Stockdale Village Shopping Center. Officers say the 22-year-old driver lost control of the truck, but aren't sure how fast he was going. He was the only person inside the vehicle. He was not injured but will be booked for driving under the influence.
Building inspectors were on scene overnight to assess the damage.
