Are you people serious! How dare you turn this around on her, insinuating that she is being being over-dramatic for some kind of financial gain! Your comments disgust me. Let's not lose sight of who the victim is here, a special needs child, who most likely cannot articulate his needs, express his feeling, emotions or thoughts. A innocent, naive little boy who was NEGLECTED! I hope she is awarded a huge settlement so that she won't have the stress and concern of having to leave her child with anyone again. So she won't have to work during his childhood years. I cannot even begin to imagine, as a Mother, the emotions she is feeling. It is our job as parents to protect our children, sending a special needs child to school to begin with is very difficult because they cannot always tell you if someone has violated that trust. I feel for this little boy. It makes me sad to think about him sitting in a bus seat belted in for hours. This was traumatic for him. I hope the school district is re evaluating their system. This is completely unacceptable.

It doesn't even have to be about an autistic child. Can you imagine your own 5 yr old being left, by a trusted company, seat-belted into a van, by himself for 4 hours? I would be horrified, and certainly angry to the point of wanting someone to pay, whether financially, or with some blood.

Wow what a bunch of douches in this comment section. As for being over dramatic, what bunch of garbage. She has every right to be this angry. Why don't you try having an autistic child! Heads should roll for this!!

instead of making fun, every should be outraged, this is a child with special needs who cant ask for help, who was left without food water or care for at least 4 hours because of someone's neglect. IF it had been a dog ,maybe there would be more concern and outrage, that doesn't say much for the people of BAKERSFIELD

It is so sad that this happened to this child. But I'll bet the mom has already called Daniel Rodriguez.

While its this is a bad thing that happened to her son, I feel like the mother is being way over dramatic, trying to gather sympathy. Reading some of the things she said, you might think she was the one who was trapped on the bus. I agree with Roger, I bet after she sues, she will be much better

I agree, she'll need a large settlement to make her child whole again. Of course it will also help her in the healing process.
