Six or seven months ago, a female non-Sikh walked into a Sikh temple in Bakersfield and was quickly told to leave. Is this what Shri Koon means by tolerance? Sikhs call a friend a friend only if he is “my countryman”. Is instructing Sikh women to marry only Sikh men is what the Shri calls freedom and tolerance? Tolerance works both ways. Perhaps the Shri should go back and read the 8,000 year old Hindu Vedas and Paranas he has long denied. Also, put up a sign at your Temple that says, “You are welcomed here only if you are ‘My Countryman’ ”
