High speed chase injures wife, kills daughter of local firefighter
Authorities say Marvin Hicks led Sheriff's deputies on a high-speed chase through Palmdale last Thursday night and crashed into a car driven by Tina Ruano, the wife of Kern County firefighter Mike Ruano. Their two-year-old daughter, Madison, was in the backseat.
