My deepest sympathies to the Harper Family. They will be dealing with this tragedy for some time. My issue was the way the case was handled. You cannot convince me for a SECOND that Vincent Brothers got a fair trial. There was almost four years of constant publicity and a biased media. This case SHOULD have changed venues. Besides the over exposure to media, Kern County has a history of wanting to break out the noose before a trial has even started. Rights of the accused are railroaded in this county. Vincent Brothers had been convicted before the trial even started. This trial should have been moved out of Kern County from the get go. Yet again, out DA and court system has failed. It has a history of failures and a paper trail of successful appeals to prove it. It the courts and DA followed their P's and Q's men like that Stoll guy would never had gone to prison and cop killers like Bruce Sons would still be rotting in jail.

I cannot believe it has been 5 years. What a tragedy. God Bless the Harper family.
