Firefighters are cleaning up after battling a strip mall fire in Wasco Wednesday morning.
Cellphone video of the fire at 7th and F Streets was sent to us by viewer Julie Houser. You can see the flames as one of the first deputies arrives of scene.
Firefighters say half of the shops went up in flames at about 3:30 a.m. including an auto repair shop, a barber shop, and a clothing store. Crews were concerned the fire would spread to other buildings but they managed to keep flames contained to just those shops.
There are no reports of any injuries and inspectors are now surveying the damage.
