Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I do know what they are going through. I lost my husband the same way Dec.26, 2010 to a meth head that didn't want to go to jail for misdemeanor charges. Dog and Beth have also been there to support me through all of this and I truly thank them for that. Hopefully justice will serve on all these creeps. Our hearts go to the Sim's family.

SHEFFWCI - 5:36 PM 0 Votes Report User First of all I would like to offer my condolences to the family of the victims. I am not going to try and pretend that I know what you are going through but I do know that you are in pain and you are in mine and many other bail agents thoughts and prayers. I am a licensed Private Investigator in the state of California. Our specialty is Fugitive Recovery. I want you all to know that Bail is a important part of our legal system. People like us (Bounty Hunter, Bail Enforcement Agent) are needed to prtect the interests of the Bail Bond Agency. Many agency's are mom and pop outfits. They risk loosing everything bu defendants running on there bail bonds. If the defendant is not found, the agency must pay the entire amount of the bail bond to the court. It is up to us to make sure that this does not happen. As far as Dog goes. I recently attempted to have Dog and the family help us on a fugitive case where we located the Fugitive in Hawaii. This guy committed several crimes including but not limited to taking advantage of a mentally challenged woman. Dog and his crew simply hung up on us when we attempted to solicit his help. First calls were to swear at us etc. Truly unprofessional behavior. All this after Dog himself told us to get him certain information. An email to Ms. Beth prommised a return call from her the following day. That was two weeks ago nd iHas anyone seen Dog do any actual Investigation? Wow so many fugitives he has caught for his family, Bail Bondsmen. They must not know how to write bail. Ask yourself this. Why when you are in the proffesion we are in would you want everyone to see your face? Give me a break. Its reality TV folks. Im sorry to burst your bubble but if you by the Dog or shows like operation repo, I have a bridge for you. I think its great if Duane trully knows the family then he should come out to Bakersfield to be with the family. Maybe he can get in an autograph session for his fans or find a new s

I HOPE THEY CATCH THIS M.F'R AND HANG HIS ASS BY HUS NECK. UNFORTUNATELY JUSTICE IN KERN COUNTY WILL NOT PREVAIL IN KERN COUNTY HE WILL GET LESS TIME THAN SOMEONE THAT HAS REPEATEDLY COMMITED A PETTY CRIME. MY HEART GOES OUT TO HIS FAMILY.

If by any chances the murder happened to be Mexican, it would had turned into a race thing, but since the killer is white, it's just that! A criminal killing two dudes... funny stuff, but typical with our uneducated people in Bakersfield.

While "Dog" doesn't represent those of us Agents that are out here everyday doing the job, we are glad to see him add his celebrity to this cause. I challenge him to be equally enthusiastic in donating to any memorial fund that may be established in the victims honor. I know there are plenty of Bail Enforcement/Fugitive Recovery Agents that would contribute as well. That said, when the dust settles I hope that lawmakers will consider our situation. Police and Sheriff departments are NOT compelled to provide assistance, even to "stand-by", as they are in other states, while we apprehend these bail fugitives. Additionally, our hands are tied so much when it comes to carrying a firearm, that we have to wait until we are practically in harms way, just to arm ourselves in this state. We are NOT police, we know this. However, the end result of our actions are very similar...bad guys get off the street and in jail. We provide a service to the community at risk of great bodily harm and/or even death to ourselves. When something goes wrong, we cannot call for help from local Law Enforcement and always expect a similar response that they would provide their own. Often, we are left to fend for ourselves against challenging odds. Wake up California, the Bail industry keeps bad guys off the streets, and the Bail Enforcement industry frees up Law Enforcement resources to do more important things. Don't hobble us...empower us!
