DR999, your absolutely right. I wasn't able to figure out what SAMDAWG was trying to say, only that he seems to really dislikes this man from something he didn't even witness himself. I would have called and had the dog removed as well. The dog was abandoned.

samdawg, animal control officers work at night if they are called out by dispatch to handle a specific problem. My question to you is how long was your grandpa's house vacant with the dog living there, ALONE? And it would be reasonable for the dog to be barking, (not hollowing, and I assume you meant hollering), if it was alone. If I lived next door to this situation I too would call and have the dog removed. And so what if the man who lived next door to the loud dog is related to the dog guy? He probably just better service than some regular Jose citizen.

You still didn't witness this yourself, your going off of what other people are telling you. That is hearsay. Not trying to be mean, but its the truth.

That's what he is...i feel sorry for his wife and kids.He came to my grandma house at 11:00pm. what dogcatcher works at night??NONE!. My grandpa pass away and no one was living at the house. My grandpa dog was hollowing for him at night(no one was stay @ the house).So one moring i went to check on the dog,GONE! The person living next door, told me that the dogcatcher came last night and took him and the person living on the other side of the house is the dogcatcher UNCLE. So that next day i went to the police dept. to ask him what happen to my grandma's dog.i told him what i knew and he had a white face look to him.He told be a boges story, that the dog got loose and ran from him into a muddy field. Thats a lie, becuase the dog could not run, he was old and had arties on his hip bones.(very slow walking dog) I talk to the captain and was looking into it.

@samdawg? How do you know he killed your grandmothers dog? Did you witness this? If he had done what your accusing him of, he would have been arrested for animal abuse. Thats pretty low of you to accuse him of doing this, no matter how much you dislike him. That really says a lot about your character.

@SAMDAWG how is he scamming people and making money for himself when the "price fee" is coming from the KERN COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER? If you don't know, Arvin actually pays for every dog that is taken into the animal shelter! You people don't know what to complain about. Either he doesn't do his job by picking up all the stray dogs or now he was fraudently picking up dogs to make money for the city, how stupid!!!

He had a scam, he would go to homes with dogs and would take off there lic# collar(home owner is not home,Working to make a leav'in,has a dog to proctect he's property ) and take them to the dogpound and then call you to come pick it up for a $PRICE FEE!Thats right!
