hcali, anyone who provides alcohol to a minor is a criminal. The fact that said minor wishes to drink is immaterial.

I see some comments in here from people, like as if they were there at the scene or were with this girl at the time of the accident. If im not mistaken none of you were there so how can you voice your opininon on something you dont know. its a sad thing that has happened and this child is no longer here and all of you have no idea what her family and friends are going through. Second of all no one is responsible for this other than one person. that is the drunk man in the other car that hit. her not her or any one else for that matter also the comment about a twitter from a kid that incriminated himself i believe it was DrunkGalvez umm I pretty sure a twitter comment doesnt make you a crimminal exspecially when this girl is 18 and wasn't forced to do anything she didnt want.Its a tragedy why is everyone making so much out of this its the media and bored people with nothing else to do leave it alone.

Not all of us. It is unfortunate that there are people who would blame the victim, but that is one of the hazards of open discussion. The point is to get folks to think. We live in a sick society where young women feel compelled to demean themselves for the sake of popularity & young "men" take advantage of them for the basest of motives. Please understand, my prayers, and those of all people of good will,are for the repose of Breana's soul and for our Lord to comfort her family and friends. If you are parents, hug your kids. If children, hug your parents. Show that you love them, every chance you get.

I think you are all missing the fact that someone's little girl is gone. Traffic violations and tweets are irrelevant when you think that parents are going to have to bury their child well before her time. Have some respect and keep your ignorant and inconsiderate thoughts to yourself and let the family mourn in peace. To the rest of my Webb family, our prayers are with you.

RVlady? Teenagers brains are incapable of sound judgement. This can be proven by fMRI scans. A 33 year old man has no excuse, not to mention the filth who ply underage girls with alcohol. Could there be any doubt regarding the motive? This is a tragedy & all culpable actors should be held accountable. At least one person has incriminated himself via his Twitter account, @DRUNKGALVEZ. I pray that the DA's office is pursuing the lead.

I think she is partially at fault also, she may have not have made the bad decision to drive if she had not been drinking, there are a million what if's. Hopefully her friends and other kids who think they are invincible will think twice before doing the same. It's true this guy should have been locked up long ago. I'm sorry for all involved, my thoughts are with Breana's family and friends.

This is such a tragedy that hopefully opens many eyes to the importance of NOT drinking and driving. It nerves me to see that the male driver has had prior DUI convictions and still has not corrected his decision making. As for the inocense of the teen, driving while intoxicated is a traffic violation. Alcohol impares judgement, and maybe the little swerve saved others, but its hard to stomach the thought of what she might have done if not impared.

rvlady, how can you intelligently say it was partly her fault? You don't know the circumstances of the accident, do you. Let's assume she had been drinking. If she was driving in her lane, not committing any traffic violations, and some drunk driver, driving against traffic, plows into her, how is that partly her fault?!!!
