You are faced with a variety of options when choosing your reception site. The choice will depend on the type of wedding you're planning. Your reception site needs to be large enough to accommodate your guests but within your allocated wedding budget. If you're planning a small wedding, you may choose to hold your reception at your home, either indoors or in the garden. Larger wedding receptions may be held at a private club, church hall, ballroom, or restaurant. Reception sites usually provide a variety of services such as catering, set-up, clean-up, and sometimes even music. Contact the Chamber of Commerce in your city for a list of possible sites, and ask friends and family for suggestions. Before you choose your reception site you need to know how many people will be attending, and what services, if any, you will need. For more information, contact a wedding specialist.
