If you're trying to have a baby and it's not happening as quickly as you'd expected, you might have an infertility problem. Infertility is a condition of the reproductive system often diagnosed after a couple has had one year of unprotected, well timed intercourse. Timely intercourse is that which is planned around the time you ovulate. This is the most fertile time and is basically the only time of your cycle you can conceive. You might also be diagnosed as infertile if you've been unable to carry a pregnancy resulting in a live birth. Problems conceiving can result from many different factors. Modern technology can help you overcome many causes of infertility. If you think you might have an infertility problem, talk to a specialist, who can review your situation and discuss your options for conceiving.
