An Italian catering boss has eliminated the need for washing dishes by creating edible plates.
Tiziano Vicentini has made the plates out of bread dough that he says is tough enough to last during a meal and tasty enough to eat afterwards.
Vicentini hopes schools will adopt the dishes. He says he came up with the idea after years of realizing that schools are wasting money on plastic plates and dishes and washing them.
Vicentini says, "these dishes cost a few pennies each and are either eaten by the kids or go into recycling bins for animal food."
