A local man, desperate to find his lost dog, has become a human billboard.

Andy Prestage has been walking along Main Street in Lamont, wearing a sandwich board.

On Friday, his beloved Australian Shepherd "Pixel" jumped out of his van, while he was loading parts at Cartwright Wheel and Brake.

Prestage left and returned ten minutes later, after realizing Pixel wasn't in the van.

But, the dog was nowhere to be found.

"I look a little ridiculous, but this dog is very important to me. It's very important to my family. I'm willing to go to any extreme, any length, there is a reward for her return," said Prestage.

Prestage has put up hundreds of fliers and contacted animal shelters.

Pixel was wearing a pink collar with a name tag and also has a microchip. If you have any information, you can reach Prestage at 706-0563.
