It's official --- every crumpled ballot had been straightened, every smudged signature has been examined, every i dotted and t has been crossed, the results of Kern County's election are final.
And it doesn't appear there are any surprises, other than those we already knew about.
Rudy Salas won the 32nd assembly district.
Terry Maxwell won the second ward Bakersfield council seat by 480 votes.
The candidates of the Oildale Municipal Water Company, Jim Tyack, Ray Etcheverry and Dennis Meier.
Estella Cortez missed a seat on the Lost Hills Utility District by one vote.
And more than a thousand Kern County residents voted Rosanne Barr for president.
