With summer nearly here, several local seminars were held today to prevent heat illness.
State Fund Consultation and Cal-OSHA teamed up to teach contractors and the general public about how to stay cool while working in sometimes strenuous heat conditions.
"They will learn about the heat illness standard - how to protect their workers and how to make the environment as safe they can given the nature of heat illness."
The seminars were free and held in English and Spanish.
