http://alertline.kern.org/The School Alert Line was developed by the Kern County Superintendent of Schools Office to facilitate communication between districts and the public in the event of a school delay or closure. Some districts are authorized to call a two hour delay, other districts are authorized to call a three hour delay. District superintendents may also elect to close school for the day.
