Bolthouse Farms is voluntarily recalling some of their 16-ounce bags of carrot chips, because they may be contaminated with salmonella.

The bags being recalled have best if used by dates of November 12, 2012 and November 13, 2012. According to the California Department of public health no illnesses have been reported.

Anyone who has a bag should discard it or return it to the store of purchase for a refund.  If you notice the carrots being sold, you're asked to report the activity to the CDPH toll free complaint line at (800) 495-3232.
