We had same thing happen over 35 years ago on Planz & Wilson. We fought the apts going in where old Kern radio station was. We went to meetings, We had petions. We screamed Did no good we have apt behind our home's .The are in our back yards. Good Luck!

sewin fool, the areas you mentioned were once very upscale areas. The apartment complexes were very nice. But that was over 30 years ago. Things change over time. In 30 years the houses in the River Run area will probably mostly be section 8 rentals.

Every time apartments are built innice areas, the area goes downhill. Look at Stockdale Hwy, look at Olive Drive, look at Q St. between Columbus and 34th, look at Ming Avenue. The crime rate goes up, the property values go down, and you get lowlifes moving in. Not all apartment dwellers are lowlifes. But it only takes a few to ruin a perfectly good neighborhood.
