They just don't like loosing customers... I walked in to request a 12 month history on my usage. I did mention that it was for a solar estimate and their mood changed from semi-friendly to flat out rude. Yes ! Go solar.

newshound, as I was readind the headline I was thinking the same as you stated. Face it, even though the utility companies are pushing for solar and wind, it's for them, not the everyday guy. They want the everyday guy to keep things as they are so they can shaft us with their inflate rates all the while making money hands over fists with green programs and Federal benefits (subsidies)

It took one month for PG&E to come out to our house,..spend 10 minutes to approve, and then leave. I know exactly WHY it takes one month for PG&E to "approve" the installation; It is so they can crank at least one final month of inflated rates out of you. They got it,...but let me tell you,..it was worth any wait we went thru. Instead of our average July bill of 350+,...it was 28.00. Unbelievable!! We are leasing at 126.00 per month. Can't wait to see how we do in the worst month of the year; August. I am betting that it will be below 50.00. GO SOLAR!!!
