A Santa Clarita native, Trevor Thompson is happy to be reporting and doing weekend sports in Bakersfield.
Trevor has lived in Southern California most of his life. He attended the University of Southern California and majored in broadcast journalism. He was the first Junior ever to win the Chick Hearn Award for Sports Broadcasting given out by the Los Angeles Lakers.
After college, Trevor spent a year in Madison, Wisconsin as a news reporter and producer.
At KGET, Trevor is both a sports anchor and news reporter, which is perfect for him since he loves sports and learning something new every day he comes to work.
In his spare time, Trevor enjoys working out, reading, and eating.
If he weren't an anchor reporter, Trevor would either be a personal trainer or a secret agent... but probably a personal trainer.
